    I just got these from a trade for a few bands, i got a lot of work ahead of me, specially kn the guava forks, they are huge!!

    Here is a pic with my favorite target, just for scale!

    These are 3 guava forks, the thin one is tamarind and the bottom one is Tzalam, we'll see what we can get out of them!!

      I love to make and shoot the Conus! But I haven't used a fork for one yet. Take another look at Arturo's examples!
      Oh, by the way, guava is a lovely wood. This beauty was built in Mexico by a friend of a friend. Guava4.jpg

      I made this Samurai Conus out of a big a*s Mezquite fork, i think it turned out pretty nice, it is still missing the groove on the flat side, i have no idea how to nake it tho..

      I thik you can barely see the fork grain on the forktips...

      Nice work. I think for the groove Arturo uses sandpaper wrapped around a half inch pipe if that helps any fella

      Thanks Alex, will definetly take a look at that, i've shot my conus quite a bit and don't really find it necessary, but i really want to do it!
