    I believe it’s a young oak. The brown leaves were on this tree. [​IMG]

      Once you get it peeled, the grain is unmistakable. Nice find.

      Looks like Oak. I won't cut forks from live trees, but that's just me. There's no shortage of down, dry branches in our area.

      Actually that young tree is between fence and a ditch. Whole area is getting cut out later.
