NO !!!!!!! Lol no crazy !!!!
    Sling flu !!!!!!!!!!!
Started building this frame today, needed to get my mind off of the crazies and what’s going to happen all week because my wife and child are traveling across country in car makes me worry a little . I decided on using a piece of G 10 I had a piece of aluminum and Bacote . Did not want to make something that somebody else has already made so I made half of something somebody made and half of something else somebody made LOL .
I will not show all of the work up to this project because then you would know what it was going to look like and we’re supposed to find out the results tonight
Clue pic. also Goliath would be a clue also !!
Any ideas I say 340+ And popular vote win by tonight ! No need for extra counting no way to catch up !
So what do u guys think it is !!!!!!!

      if he looses

      G10 side

Bocote side , full size band forktips 1”
Thought about getting nice and Giggy with the center section thinning it out doing a bunch of stuff but the knots in the bocote are too pretty to mess with so rounding everything off . Figure out If like it make a titanium one or not :)

Clint, could you maybe chuck a small hole saw in the drill or drill press, using the bottom of the V groove as a reference point or guide for the drill bit, then cut a circular hole with the hole saw, and cut straight sidewalls down from the fork tips into the new U shaped gap ?

Ok first shape of new design change
On critique from @Fidencio León Burgos
I went with a wider gap one mistake number one . Wasn’t a mistake it was a good idea me just doing it was a mistake Lol
Mistake number two I forgot I have not played with my big knife grinder in a while and I’m not as good as I used to be . You must pay attention to all parts because somewhere else it’s grinding LOL when I went to cut the fork tips I wanted to not do the labor so use the machine easy Peezy right reached in there made a nice quarter inch cut look down the backside was at an angle almost ruined the whole slingshot
Threw it away took it out of the trash threw it away took it out of the trash looked at it I still got three-quarter inch tips that’s as far as I wanted to make the gap I did not want circle because I didn’t want to go below the pens looks like it’s gonna work great will see what she looks like after she sanded up .
O ya she went on a diet and thinned out some to
NOW because of @richnewm I have to use soap and water to sand my G 10 because I can’t let him get a step ahead of me we’ll see if she’s a shooter after she’s oiled up
      52E43AFC-CCE2-41D8-8D76-AE75AA0E4BAD.jpeg
Thinking that Light green light green white G 10 it’s going to make a great contrast for aiming for us people who shoot correctly and hold it in the right hand

Yes that white water jug is one of my targets it is 66.6 yards away I hit it most of the time on good days I’ve got like four squirrels there
It might be hard to see but there is a coke can below the white target that is also one of my targets I do pretty good with it will catch almost all syeelies in the root right there at the bottom of the tree
