I finished binge watching Netflix's 2017 serial episode release of "Godless". It was a 7 episode mini-series of about 1hr on average for each episode and a 2hr finale. It started off so good and I was invested in the show but it devolved into cliches, forced 21st century morality, horrible gunfight choreography, and a horribly weak conclusion. Ugh! I'm pissed so just a warning to stop other people who love the western genre from getting suckered. Luckily there are many more westerns that I have not seen and are on my watchlist. Next up for me is Open Range (2003). What are your top 3 westerns? I have about two dozen that I loved and it is nearly impossible to pick 3 for myself but here are three of my favorites:

    Unforgiven (1992)
    Tombstone (1993)
    Hang 'Em High (1968)

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. (All time favorite)
    The Quick and the Dead.
    High plans drifter.

    Just to name a few

I thought Godless was pretty good haha.

Fun fact, Magnificent 7 and A Fist full of Dollars are remakes of Samurai movies The 7 Samurai and Yojimbo.
If you like western check out some of those old Samurai movies. You will probably like.them too.

I'm a huge fan of Samurai movies as well. I've watched every single one of the old "Zatoichi" the blind swordsman movies.

Shanghai nights or noon is the last western type film I watched.

Also if you like samurai movies you might like some of the early Jackie Chan films, not the Hollywood ones but the Chinese ones.

    Deadman
Hell On Wheels - TV Series
Firefly - Some say its a space cowboy type movie
Slingshot Mountain - but ive never watched it:)
Older westerns are always good to watch when youve got them down time Sundays
Havnt had downtime for many a Sundays partners Thats the part westerns didnt teach us Once we get hitched and ride off into the sunset
