My sister from the Cape came to visit my little family in sunny South-Wales for Christmas. She has a thing for sunrise. I have a thing for slingshots.

Nice video. Enjoyed seeing a bit of Wales. I was there once, many years ago.
    And your sister is pretty.

She gave up the Cape summer for Wales? Great seeing family - we don’t get many over from SA. Nice one R.

Haven't seen her in 7 years & she needed to meet her little nieces but she's only visiting and heading back end of next week.
Apparently there's a huuuge drought on in the Cape with serious restrictions on water everywhere. She cringes every time we do the dishes or somebody flushes the toilette!

Yeah - my mom messages every time it rains. They’re in Somerset West. Think we’ve been able to see my parents 2-3 times in 7 years. My brothers less than that - maybe once. If it weren't for Skype and WhatsApp the kids would grow up not knowing their grandparents. Coming over next year April - so all good. Get my dad to cut me a few frames before he comes. :)

I made her a big clunker a few years back, but she still gets a forkhit every now and again, so probably something plastic,,the torque or beanflip maybe... I'm not real generous with my nice ones.

I hear you. Where in the country are you?
Been trying to plan a little bring and braai and shoot with Barky whom I realised is only like an hour away from me. Roll on the summer!

Newbies really like those cursed black widows too. I've given a fair few away and they tend to be Scouts for the Natural newbies but Jorg's or a Hammer like shape for the fork hitters.

yeah, I got one commercial frame (marksman?) kicking around for that guy who "was really good with a "Real" slingshot" when he was a kid., that's the guy who doesn't even get to touch my plastic ones. cause that guy usually can't be trained..

We were in Stratford Upon Avon last year - but due to the lack of sun have moved back to Lisbon - Mrs’ gets bad SAD (we were in Devon for 5 years before that).

Can’t wait to get our stuff out of storage - making wors its high on the priorities list... And I made a biltong drier... need to test that.
