OTT Top slot band attachment?

    I have a few questions for those of you who have a slingshot with top slots to attach the bands.
    Below is a drawing that I made.

    My questions are, does the slot fall in the center of the hole as in drawing A or to the side of the hole like in drawing B?

    Also how deep is the slot from the top of the forks?

    Last question, is the slot centered in the thickness of the forks?

      Central all the way, depth doesn't matter. So do it like A.

      Not to highjack, But I have tried to do this with no great success. Can anyone give a lesson or two on how to make these? No drill press. Thanx!

      Slot centered above hole, hole centered on fork....depth not that critical, maybe 3/4” or so

      I like the slot to be centered over the hole. There are some good options if the frame is intended to be shot with tubes as well as flat bands.

      You can buy drill guides like this guy uses although I think his is home made.

      I've only made 1 with top slots real pain in the but lol I put mine in the center 20201031_165647.jpg
