Ok this piece of titanium is been bugging me I have two pieces exactly the same 8.5mm thick cut the same
    What do I do ?
Got the winter work done “ except for the shoveling the snow part “ lol
I think I can maybe end up with three to 4 frames from these two pieces I just don’t know what shape to cut them in
Yes 1 is a opfs thick :) butt it sits right in the middle so it would waste a whole piece for 1 oPFS But what an OPFS it would be !:)
    Any ideas
Thought of a @Fidencio León Burgos delta wing without the curve but with a gap
Lol just trying to get somebody thinking for me

Ok last pic’s this of the Nibbler . No I did not Polish the titanium as I should have because I will put more scratches in it then I take out LOL and I’m sure I ll be taking dents from it so grinding and polishing will be done multiple times I’m sure this is thick titanium that should last me my whole life

Ok guy let finish that was one piece
      Now we got #2
Since the first piece was my two favorite the Nibler and that side shooter littlefoot
.and I do Love the opfs but I really got to be in the mood to shoot it because it’s a tad too small for my hands SO !!!!!!
Large titanium 0PFS Perfect for some hunting bands and a little bit larger heavier stuff yet no recoil affect at all with smaller ammo should be a perfect fit now the smaller is A Nibler if I push it barely maybe
Yes a tadd smaller butt did two already ! Don’t wanna make the same slingshot over and over Lol. So now doing what old men do best sit here and think what I’m going to make out of the small piece of titanium go out right now and cut the wedge in the large OPFS it’s gonna be nice feels good thinking about adding bocote to make it look like @richnewm opfs design like the space shuttle thing if I can adjust my attitude enough I may do that by tonight lol no glue until wed but could have it all ready yaaa!!!

Nice, Clint. Larger OPFS shoot and handle pretty well. I built a beech split frame awhile back that is a 1/8 in bigger all the way around and 1/2 in thick.

Nice pickle fork. Most of mine are pretty light. But the weight of the osage conus was a revelation.
      Enjoy shooting that!
And, yeah, that vet tape rocks!

Yep there’s a recoil factor :) especially when you get into heavier bands
Seems to be a lot less pole on your wrist when the frame is as heavy as this

      My titanium family
All of which are in my shooting rotation can’t say that about the others I’ve made
The large opfs “conus size” 8.5mm thick
With the red white and blue wrap
Is the best most steady “ like a vice “ frame I have then the two bocote besides just looking effing Bitchin both shoot Beyond my expectations both are always a daily shooter now . The reg opfs I don’t shoot much then the other Nibbler always have it doing something
So for two pieces of titanium I came out with five excellent shooting slingshots that I will keep forever . Wood is nice but titanium last forever ! So I was mighty surprised with myself with this whole little set they kicked a lot of slingshots out of the rotation .

And no the vet wrap is not leaving I put gauze underneath it to raise it up “ Palm swell “to make it look like @richnewm style opfs
Once I get things unpacked and get to play with my leather I might make some kind of a thing for it

      Outstanding rotation of shooters, Clint!
Just wondering though, do you have trouble adjusting to that huge, 1-inch gap on the Little Foot?
