    So finally had time today to turn this old solid oak shelf..

    More accurately first one will be a Pickle Bone and the second one will be a Tiny Turtle:)

      That's some nice wood. A pfs made from that should last forever. Plus that shelf gets a second life as a slingshot(s). I love the idea of repurposing materials. That would also make nice knife handle scale material as well.

      Thanks. Already ahead of you got a piece set aside for an M1 Garand bayonet that needs a new handle. For the rest I'll keep some and give some away to whom ever needs or wants it.

      Those honey dos kept me busy most of the weekend finally got 10 minutes before it got dark to myself for this and a quick conus shoot before I get ready to leave.
