I've had a Scout XT for several years, recently I purchased a Scout LT. I like it a lot, I'll shoot the LT for a while then I find myself going back to the XT. Some things I like about the XT better than the LT, and vice versa.
Just having a hard time desideing which one to make as my go to shooter.
For those of you that have these two slingshots, which one do you prefer? And why?

About as far south as you can get, I live in Lawrence County, not far from Ironton.

Welcome to the forum. Tons of information here. Tons of interesting people. Not trying to complicate the question. Just trying to help answer it better.
What do you mean by “go to shooter?” Just to be clear. I have SLingshots that I edc for impromptu shooting, I have goto slingshots for hunting varmints, I have others for backyard plinking, others for testing bands and the most importantly I have goto slingshots I let friends shoot. Not trying to over complicate a simple fork, it just shows they seem to all have different roles, and goals.
Simply put the one at hand when needed is the goto. They all shoot. I own both scouts. Both have different intended roles. Become very proficient at one and stick with it. Until you are more skillful. There are some good reviews on YouTube. Just remember that some people’s skill level will sway their judgement as to which one is “better.” According to them. Dm me if that isn’t clear.

It looks like your building skills you don’t need Simpleshot.

      I'm glad I have both.
But I like the LT much better. It's a better fit for my hand and carries better, too.

It’s a edc for me also.
But the xl is easier for the kids to handle. Hammer grip and seemed easier for the kids I had try them to aim.

I'm 61 years old and have been shooting slingshots since I was knee high to a grass hopper, back then all of my slingshots were made from tree forks and car intertubes for the bands, the pouches were made from the tung of an old boot.
Many years later I received a Wham-O slingshot for my birthday, man I thought I was something then. Although I had many slingshots there always seemed to be one that just stood out above all the others, one that you always seemed to reach for on the way out the door. That's what I mean by a goto slingshot. Right now I have many different slingshots, to many!
I'm very proficient with them all, but I like the Scout slingshots the best.

I'd say, stick to the one you're most accurate with.
I have an XT and love it.

I have 3 XT's but I like the looks of the web swell on the LT. If the outer fork gap was same as the XT I'd probably buy one.

I prefer the new LT over the Xt due to form factor and size. Even though I have large hands, I like smaller frames.
