Well there hasn't been a name yet however it will be in Tennessee and will be a 10 m or 33 foot event with any style frame for your use. No lasers, optics, or sights excluding pins. Will be a "trial run" and there will be room for improvement. If this hits off will hopefully be every year or two. I would like to know who is interested and should be able to go. Date and location are TBD yet should be near Madison county Tennessee around June or July to avoid this snowy and cold weather here recently.

    10$ entry fee
    Knockdown targets
    Any frame
Aiming dimps and pins are legal
    Fiber optic sights are illegal
Optics and lasers are also illegal
    3/8 steel only (provided)

When you say Fiber optics, Optics and Lasers are "illegal", does that mean someone could be arrested by law enforcement for bringing such a thing into TN?

No for the competition. Here about anything goes open carry, police radar scanners, and hunting without a license so long as on private property and game is dressed on sight

So, it's not "illegal", it's just not allowed for the competition?

Might have a location, he's talking to the farmer today to check his schedule, but we hopefully will have a big field to shoot in!

Is this planning to be a full out weekend event, camping area, food, vendors, tents, multiple events etc?

Or are you talking a get together and kill a couple hours shooting?

A day long event unless that is what is preferred. Probably only a few hours like 11-6 on a Saturday. Still working everything out but should be sorted before this Saturday

Although there is a great state park with great camping about 30-40 minutes away, I go all the time. Natchez Trace.

I meant for camping. And they might, they have boys out meets there and they do all kinds of stuff. They would surely have the space somewhere out there though. They also have a shooting range that might be able to rent out for the day, not sure. But hey it may be a viable option.

I'd lean towards it so we could have a two day event

It's also right off the exit of the interstate (literally turn off the interstate into the state park)
