Stix and I did a trade recently and I received his end of the trade the other day. I haven't had a chance to band up his sweet Maple fork yet due to wet fall weather but I'll still share it with you.
He also included some interesting scraps that will come in handy, a few pouches and some really cool bottle cap size targets.

I sent Phil's stuff to his In-laws in Ohio so he can pick it up when he's in the states and I hope he likes it as much as I'm going to enjoy all his goodies. Thanks again, sir!! 1016201421.jpg

Man that guy gets around! Fantastic sir, if it wasn't curvy it'd almost pass for DSil Original. Good half a trade!I suppose that's not a deck, what are the trex boards for? They make cool shooters also, tough as heck unless it's the air-bubbley PVC variety, then it's just meh ..

Yeah, that's a deck. The picture is on a small bench I made with leftovers. I still have some boards, I just may have to try a frame of 2 out of it!! Thanks, Pie!!

In case anyone's wondering what the stuff is, the butt cap on this sling is box elder burl. The scraps are for butts or spacers: The blocks are more box elder burl, and the thinner ones are crushed and resin impregnated bamboo.
