Something Old, Something New – PFS Mule

    It will be 3/16" ali core with some wood stuck on it. Nothing fancy forevah!

    I have learned I am not a synthetics lover. hahaha...and complex is for those machinists and engineers and artists.

    I am going back to my roots as a simple man.

    Don't get me wrong those are beauties and magical looking flips. But I will just buy or trade for those.

    Again, thank you for sharing, an idea we needed and wanted but had not thought of.

    I think we are thinking alike. I mostly build on plywood cores for the ease and simplicity. But today before I read your post, I started this project. 3/16" aluminum core build. I don't have any synthetic sheets to play with. This will get a couple layers of whatever wood I dig up in my shop. Also, I don't have any fancy milling machines to cut it out. Old school metal working here. Well, I did use a dremel and my spindle sander, but other than that its drill bit cutting.
