Has anybody used this stuff? I've had it less than a day and have gone through 2 bandsets, it seems to break very easy.
Shooting a 24-18 taper with 7 inch tie to tie so it not exactly over stretched.

I might make a 7.5 or 8 inch band set, hopefully the speed doesn't drop off to much

I find it probably in the top 3 of the bands available today, maybe a bad batch but id check if your roller cutter is sharp

Yeah I don't think its my cutter. I've .76 GZK cut to the same measurements and it's lasts much much longer

Pain in the neck, I might pick up some of that .8 shark stuff from cattyshack next. Hate throwing money away though

if the bands are breaking near the pouch you might have tied them on too tight, it used to happen to me a lot

Yeah that's where they're tearing alright. I did think of that but thought nothing of it as it's the same way I tie all my bands - with 6 wraps of that elastic thread (not amber belt) so it could be too small of a surface area. I might try with a ring strip of the band material and see if it works

Put these on yesterday, other bands have torn in simar places. Does that look like band tie is too tight?

when it happened to me it always began ripping or tearing at the same point yours are, fix for me was a not so tight knot and just a bit less elongtion, pulling not until you feel it max out, just a bit less.

I cut a quarter inch off each side of the piece that I cut for my bands and it seems to be working pretty well. I might which ends anyway too. Thanks!

I have had the same experience with this brand and other popular bands. They are unpredictable. Not trying to push a product but I have switched to SimpleShot Premium Black Latex and thus far have been very pleased. The bands are not only consistent but predictable as well. Here's a link if you are interested. https://simple-shot.com?ref=105
Again, I am not a SimpleShot employee and only offer this info because of my similar experience.

My snipersling was absolutely crap tbh.. I've gone through 50% of it already. Average 40 shots then it's gives in. Either holes appearing, splits. Ect. (yes sharp new cutters, yes correct band tapers all different sizes tested...) going back to bsb ws..

Sorry for the late response... Not tying tight enough also causes the bands to slip slightly and tear minimally which causes premature failure.. This I used to suffer but since I started tying tighter I have no problems...

I use predominantly snipersling, the yellow fits me better bc Im a butterfly draw. Saying that though, the black is excellent as well. I have never had the slightest issue from any of my snipersling bands and I have used a pile of it too.. They do have a video telling you to tie it tight or tight against the pouch and show if it slips, it rips nearly immediately. Extremely fast in normal weather but not the best cold weather pick.. My second favorite, is simpleshot black, which happens to be my favorite cold weather bands bar none. Saying this I only use the .5, I have not used any other size of the snipersling. I hope your luck changes with it bc they really are excellent bands. Good luck
