Over the winter (I can only assume due to humidity changes), two cracks in my frame have formed!! :(

I'm thinking of using CA glue and some sanding to fix it up.

Got a significant other or kids in the house...blame them.

That's too bad. At least it isn't a significant crack and won't affect the beauty and performance. It's a working tool after all.

Dang kids, always up to no good!! :D

I don't think it'll matter, but I'm going to switch to a CA finish, and that's always a nightmare imo. Haha.

It's just cosmetic and your thumb will cover most of it. Shame though that's a beauty.

LOL - tHH beat me too it. Was going to enlighten you to my program for poor mistreated or irreparably damaged (but totally useable) frames. Think that that poor R10 may quality. Just needs to be sent over for some therapy (my own that is).

Damned shame - hope it buffs out.

Before you do the CA rub around with your fingers all over the sides where the different materials match up. If you feel any ridges from the laminated pieces I wouldn't CA it. If you feel ridges or the feel of an edge that means the coefficients of the materials are not the same which will develop cracks after you CA it along the edges of laminated areas. Then the CA chips if dropped and will make it look much worse then it is. I'd leave it brother. Its an amazing slingshot.

I'm in your boat friend. I've got two little Butt-cracks started this spring, and last spring I had to send my custom sps to California to live a better life.. :(, I've been through too many acoustics also from this insane climate.. if I'm lucky this'll be my first year with AC, hoping the to build a climatized box for my wooden goodies.

looks like it's pretty well sanded right now? thin CA Will fix the crack, drip it in the crack and dab it with baking soda (instant dry) sand it back and proceed to refinish however ya want, if CA is not preferred. good luck brudda

If you go with titanium frame it's good for a life time. No cracks no breaks no nothing.

Also nothing as gorgeous as CM's frame in Ti and most people don't have access to tools to make them.

I'm not doubting Ti as a solid material, but you've only had the one someone else made you for a month. We don't know yet if it will last a lifetime.
