In the shadow of the newest Simple Shot PFS frame, a worked out a swap with Mr. Muz to slip a couple over to him. In return, he offered to send me a couple of Wasps. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I opened the mail box (and that my wife didn't open the mail box!) to find a triple wrapped box of goodness from our good brother over on the big island.
I had requested a Wasp FTC and Stinger. I already have all the PFS frames from Wasp, so thought about trying the new FTC and have seen some good shooting with the Stinger. To my surprise, Muz sent me a sweet Hydra with an aluminum core and some type of phenolic handle scales. Also he included some sugar with Wasp pouches and spinner, a pouch tying jig, and most important the JuJu antler bone bead tied to the FTC!
Quickly banded and made some test shots. Sorry not enough time at the moment for any can shredding, or bulls eye bragging. I can say that the FTC was a bit more constant than the Stinger. I put looped 1632 tubes on the Hydra and even though I don't have a lot of confidence in shooting tubes, I had no trouble hitting a 60mm spinner from 10 meters.
Thank you Mr Muz for getting everything and big thank you for the extras! Can you fill us in on the Hydra details? I don't think you made it, but always fun to know its history.
