Back in early December, @joe-032 put up for sale on the forum a beautiful polished aluminum frame that he made. Lucky for me, I was browsing the forum about the same moment and it only took me a 1/2 second to realize that I better buy quick because this aint gonna hang around for long! The Hydra design isn't the best frame in my shooting techniques, but something this purdy is a no brainer. Jumped all over it, sent Joe a message and he quickly put it into the mail.
Unfortunately, the Christmas shipping war was on and post from Serbia to the USA took a back seat to everything and it was nearly 6 weeks before it found its way to me. But it did and now I'm engaged in learning all there is about the Hydra.
I really want to do more with tubes and and so far I have tried single 1745 and looped 1632. After missing more shots that I hit, I reverted to my comfort zone of flats. Banded here in the pictures are the 15mm straight cut butterfly bands and shooting 8mm ammo. Shooting much better with this combo and made easy work of a horizontal can cut.
Beautiful frame and Joe does really nice work. If you get a chance to buy one of his frames, you better jump on it before I do! Thanks Joe and greatly appreciate your work and offering it to us around the world. I'm sure the shipping delay was due to Christmas and just happy that it made it safely.
