This natty had holes drilled for tubes and bearings. But it cracked above the hole.

Cut off below the holes, rounded the top and installed green bands.

The hold fine and shoots well. But I need more pull distance. I can not anchor on my cheek.

So, do I rebrand with longer green, or rebrand with yellow.

Sammy, you can either retie the green a little closer to the end, or try the yellow band set that I gave you. If both feel like they are too short, you will need to cut a new band set with longer length. Your arms are a bit longer than mine. I thought that green was made for 7" active length, but may be only 6". Regardless, you are on the learning curve of figuring out the best band length for your self.

Band length is a personal size and only way to get there is make them. Sometimes it is helpful to make a band longer than needed, then just keep tying it shorter until it feels good.

The yellow bands that I gave you may be a bit longer. You will just have to try it. Also, until you get better at wrap and tuck, I would suggest using office rubber bands to tie with and not use up the amber belt right now. Save it for the pouches for now.

It’s not pretty, but wrapped 6/2, and will not pull free.

Put 15 -20 shots on it this afternoon.

Great job Sammy! You’ll be wrapping and tucking like a pro in no time.
