I decided to make this post to show some of the capabilities of the "humble" pvc as material for slingshots
Pvc can be worked with power tools at slow speeds to avoid melting&gases
    Pvc Nobility.jpg Pvc Nobility1.jpg
Pvc can be boiled to modify the shape
Once boiled can be clamped until adopts the new shape
Pvc Nobility2.jpg Pvc Nobility3.jpg You can cut & shape it easily with hand tools Pvc Nobility4.jpg Pvc Nobility5.jpg
Pvc can be sanded with/under water to avoid dust, hot & friction to get smooth surfaces
Pvc Nobility6.jpg The best part is when you aply paint on your fork (polyurethane, varnish or automotive paint), the first and second layers of paint melts the first 1mm of pvc surface giving it an even more shiny or smooth finish Pvc Nobility7.jpg Pvc Nobility8.jpg Pvc Nobility9.jpg Pvc Nobility10.jpg
I hope it will be useful and excuse my limitations for communication

Hermano! That is so cool. It reminds me of a thumb pick for playing the guitar.
So, I will honor you with a song. Pay attention! This man is very fast.
