Not enough time this AM for a can. So 15 shots, missed paper 3 time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I'd like to see a target with the same setup, except with the 7/16 you have on the way. One thing I notice about your targets is that your shots are very evenly dispersed. Either you are over banded for the 3/8 (which could change as your skill develops), or you just need to shoot enough to bring everything to tighter consistency. If you were just shooting high, someone would recommend to raise your elbow or anchor point. Opposite if you were shooting low, etc. Try only shooting one frame, band, ammo, etc. for a week or two and see what happens. Good shooting!
OK, scout has Green GZK .62, Cut to 20/15 at 200mm. I like the longer draw until my hand gets a bit stronger. It will Keeel. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Been shooting 7/16 , just scout, no change. Next Wednesday ill shoot the same target. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I occasionally shoot 7/16 with my SS hammer. 7/16 hits hard and destroyers cans in a hurry! Lots of fun! Since I’ve been shooting the past 3 months or so I’ve tried everything from BB to 7/16. I pretty much just shoot 5/16 now. I seem to be more accurate with it and I have less fatigue when shooting for long periods of time because of the light draw weight of the bands. I shot 1/4 sometimes still but mostly when shooting frameless. How do you like the Scout? I’ve been thinking about ordering one. It’s the only SS slingshot I don’t have in my collection. The Scout LT was my first slingshot I bought and is one that I shoot the most accurate with so far.
OK, here it is. Last week on the left, today on the right, unless this app messes up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Well that seems more centered than the last one! You have a bit more practice under your belt, but I still stand by my original guess/comment that you were over banded for 3/8. Good shooting!
Shooting 7/16 for the last week. It’s handles better and packs a punch on a can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Looking at those five across the top of the bull and the four below, I would say you have your anchor point sorted as far as elevation. Just have to solidify things to tighten that up and get windage narrowed down.
