Pouch jig

    This is made from an aluminum connector that joins 2 pieces of channel used for curtains between beds in the hospital where I work. I hate to see them in the trash.
    I use three 6/32 screws and nuts and head down to sterilization where they have a bucket of discarded forceps. Bingo!! 1117211252.jpg 1117211253.jpg

      That's all the jig you'll ever need! Very nice. I basically built a wood version of that. I still occasionally need my clamp jig when I'm tying tubes onto tabs that don't have a hole in them. I guess I could always just punch a hole and that would be that!

      You know.. that room, the one with all the boxes of brand new discarded surgical tools..;)

      Meh, I ain't never tied bands with, danced, or fished on no jig, and I don't plan to start now ... ..

      I got one of those Hegarty tying jigs with a little red vise on it that I am very fond of. Got hemostats that I use for fishing and other things.

      Thanks for all the kind words gentlemen! I used to have a big ol' one made from 2 x 4 and spring clamps and it was overkill, I like the smaller size for sure.
