The continuing saga of the bamboo. Started these two together, but decided to do binding post on the Mule. As I don't have a drill press I'm waiting to finish that one because I drill straight holes like I can cut a straight line. The Pickle Bone is sanded to 500 grit and finished with Danish oil.. 20201022_124638_Film1.jpg 20201022_133620_Film1.jpg 20201026_222537_Film1.jpg 20201030_231919_Film1.jpg 20201030_231848_Film1.jpg Now I'm pacing the house waiting for the oil to cure

Stay safe and have a blast!

Never tried binding posts on a PFS. You might be onto something! Used them a lot on my gapper frames and loved them. You're going to need a proper workshop soon to hold all those new tools!

Thanks, Monroe. There's a pic of a tiny turtle floating around with post. Don't see a problem as long as the stock is strong enough.

Boss says no tools for me saving up for new a.c./heat for the house

I'm with you on priorities. Go ahead and buy more tools. It will be plenty hot when your wife finds out and you won't need the Heat/AC because you'll be living somewhere else!

...and then there is always the strategy of buying tools to fix things around the house. Just need to convince the boss that the drill press is needed to hang those pictures in the living room. Lord knows how many repairs a band saw could do around the house. I got my table saw when there was some window repair work in my previous house.

just kidding with you..., you are doing one heck of a job building. Best of all, you are making the most of what you do have and for that we give proper thanks.

Great work, man! Just skim $5 or $10 a week into the Funny Fund, adds up quick for the goodies.

Lol you guys worry way too much you be the man the man buys tools when he needs them no asking
And it’s a lot easier to ask for forgiveness than it is permission
      Lol
My pappy used to say a woman always wants to control you until she can then she don’t want you no more
That being said when she decided to sell my tools she did so without asking me Lol love life !!!!!
