Very sad to report that Oldmiser, Roger Adams, was found deceased in his apartment of natural causes on 11/20/19. He would have been 76 next January 15. I copied this from the other forum. It is with a heavy heart that I am sharing it here for his friend. He was a real slinger and cool guy. I will miss him.
Thanks for posting about Roger. I'm shocked and it's all still sinking in. He has been a big part of this forum and will be greatly missed.
R.I.P Roger you are in our thoughts and prayers,my condolences to his family, make sure you teach the big man up there how to shoot my friend
Awe He was more than a name here. He brought so much more than a wealth of information. He brought feelings of comfort so many times when it seemed no one was here. To let one know that someone was here. Thank you for that Roger
I don't how many of you knew, but he brewed his beer and loved to cook, too. He was a humble and well learned man with so many similar interests. And tonight I am sitting here tying bands sets, everyone else is alseep or out. And I go from weeping to laughing so hard...if my family saw me they would probably call for an exorcist. But Roger had no immediate family. He said we were his family. And that makes me profoundly happy to have been his family. I had to travel today...but tomorrow looped tubes on a SPS he gave me and I am killing beer cans all day in salute. Take care, slingshot family. We have known a fine man...and we are better for it.
Man this breaks my heart Roger was a good man who was always willing to help with a bit of knowledge or anything else you might need .I regret that I never made it over to meet him in person however I still feel like I've lost a family member Rest in peace brother you will be missed

So sorry to hear this. Never really interacted with him here, but a sad loss nonetheless. Especially for those of you that knew him well. My condolences to his family and friends.
I’m sorry to hear this. He has been a presence here since before I came along. I always liked watching his videos and sometimes shooting inside his little apartment. He loved to talk about cooking too. Rest In Peace Roger! We’ll all see you when we get there.
Yeah, when talked we always listed our meal plans...once you are a chef/cook you enjoy planning the meals. I also took pleasure in he and I being apartment dwelling shooters.
I had known him for as long as I had been on both the forums, he was a wealth of knowledge and may he Rest In Peace. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
