Haven't made a slingshot for myself all year and had the itch to create one from some materials I have had on hand for a few years. Rayshot gave me the carbon fiber. I got the swirly looking material from a knife show- made from volcanic ash, metal dust, and a really stinky resin. The slab of Ctek has been waiting for a good project.

Since I shoot the Scout most of the time, I chose that frame as my foundation and modified it to my tastes and shooting style. It shoots as good as it looks... its a keeper!

Looks awesome. Reminds of outer space, some of the pics from the hubble telescope.

Yes, there is a wormhole to another dimension in that palmswell... the dimension of AWESOME!

At least that is how I feel while shooting it...

Thanks for all the kind comments. A slingshot like this is not necessarily hard or complicated to build, it just takes a lot of patience, forethought, and more patience. A build like this cannot be hurried...at least not for me. I have destroyed a lot of slingshots by getting in a hurry. A slingshot like this must be birthed, not made... so to speak.
