    This new material I'm using for the targets makes for a bad ass Bonegrip. I've been thinking about this for a about 2 years and decided to do it and glad I did. This material would be to rubbery in most slingshots but it worked beautifully on the Bonegrip. I'll know more after making a few. Here it is.

    Bone, that is so cool..........You should intentionally fork hit it a couple times to see if it makes a mark. Seems like it would take a fork hit and just return to shape. You've entered into a whole 'nother level with this........

    Pretty cool shooter..well if ya drop it ..it should bounce back up into your hand..
    yeah I think any fork hit..should take the impact ok..may leave a spot where the ammo hit is all....Will be wait too hear more on your test reports.....

    Glad to see that RIGID thinking didn't stand in the way of taking a FLEXIBLE approach to your build process! LOL!
    You made an interesting note about how the design features (that semi-circle that separates the grip and the forks) add stiffness. Even pliable materials are hard to deform when the mass is great enough.
    That looks very promising!

    @thehappyhippy .... thanks bud!
    @Fletch .... I will do it for grins but I'm confident of the outcome as the targets made with this stuff takes it like a champ.
    @oldmiser .... I don't think it's that bouncy but rather absorbs the impact.
    @honorary pie .... thanks. I wasn't sure about that color combo but really like the way it came out. This resin is much lighter and I can get it almost white were the other was to dark.
    @KawKan .... lol...Sometimes my thinking is way to ridged. Glad I finally tried it.

    Thanks. This idea of flexibility can be built into other frames too. Kinda makes me want to try others!

    It that an Alumalite product?

    That little flat area probably conforms better after it's been warmed to body temp.

    Very cool idea.

    @Cap'n Joe .... Thanks, it's a smooth-on product. PMC-790
    @Peter Recuas .... it's not for all slingshots but for the right design style it is awesome! I will be using it again on other stuff if the design allows it.
    @Michael1971 .... thanks!
    @Covert5 .... thank you and it's super comfortable.
    @AdamvVS .... thanks for the kind words. It has been an adventure.
    @Kalevala .... I will do a shooting video with it. It works perfect.
    @Royleonard .... lol....I didn't think so either and I'm sure happy with the outcome.

    Awesome idea! I remember we talked about that PCM stuff a while back. Tell ya what, it's a lot more affordable than Task 12. I've been doing some experimenting myself, and it's not cheap...
    By the way, amazing job with the mould. Not a single visible line. I would love to know how you did that...those lines are the bane of my casting life...
