New bean shooter in Texas

    Greetings fellow bean slingers!

    I had a brief history with sling shots as a young fellow growing up, now that I'm much older and wiser...sort of.
    I am coming back to the sport. I have spent several weeks exploring all the new "technology" and my goodness how it has come a long way since the 60's and 70's.
    now that I have a lot more money and time I am really looking forward to building my own ( like I did as a kid) and getting back into the woods.

    welcome from the hill country , of Texas of course ! You might want to look up the multiplex contest that was done several years ago , lots of fun designs and multiplex is a good way to go starting out making sling shots !!
    You can also look at the patterns available here on the community. Lots of nice people and very knowledgeable ones.
