I vote for samsung to...I've had a Samsung S3, I now have a Samsung Prime Core, they will all do what you want ;) check out some samsungs on that price range snd you'll be ready to go, no need for a SD card as long as you dont want to have a TON of stuff on the phone

I currently use a Samsung galaxy light, I do have the 4 I loved it. The difference is the light is smaller, I use metro pcs. My bill is $40 unlimited everything. The Samsung galaxy light was only $40 as well.

I've got a tablet for web stuff but have a windows Nokia lumia for work with a really big screen, I could easily use that as a single system solution. You can get a cheap decent Bluetooth headset for calls so you don't have to carry a massive handset around. Service wise I think we're well placed in the UK so it's gonna depend what you can get hold of with a decent carrier.

are telamarketing people.....I did see That Samsung Tab 3 7.0 there is a phone call out feature....But I just do not know how to post to u-tube with a video or even if can make a video with a tablet...or how too post a photo to the forum....

First impression was too may be get a smart phone to do it all there ..so I could use it on the 5 month backpacking trip. And stay in touch with the forum....OM

I actually just found out with my $40 plan. On metro pcs. U can get a music streaming app, and it wont go against your data. If you are going out hiking u can bring some music, for whenever.

@vetryan15 ~My plan is too hike the Appalachian Trail (Hike thru)2,189 miles...But for
this old man will see how far I can travel...I may have to do it in sections....
Once coming off the trail I will be homeless with no place to live...

I have done some reading about getting any type of signal for devices...spotty at best
I will check out metro pcs service..The last I knew was they cater too large city area's
    limited out crop area's....OM

Metro pcs actually goes off of either Sprint or t mobile s cell towers, not sure which one. I am in a decent size farm community. My signal has been good. I haven't checked it out in the mountains. Unfortunately
