Natural forks seem to range from very obvious bark on slingshots in the typical branch shape, to very carved, and formed.

Here was the first one I ever made:

This was one I won in a logo design competition:

      Here's one by my wife:

One of my favorites is by @August West, but it's packed up since I moved to my new home. Makes a killer natural slingshot (literally), as he takes a ton of game with them.

My friend @Quercusuber is sending me one as we speak, just waiting for the postal guyto drop it off, a beauty!

In the Resource section, @Pawpawsailor has a great tutorial on making a natural slingshot as well!

My favorite natural made from dogwood and has a lot of sentimental value to me.

Oh and never make the mistake of thinking naturals are not as good or accurate as other types. It's the Indian and not the Bow The Richmond 2013 001 resize.jpg

That was actually a question I had, so, a natural can be as accurate as a board cut?

The slingshot frame has almost nothing to do with the accuracy that can be obtained imo. The pouch is way more important. What it is made of, how it is held and how it is released will have a bigger impact on consistent accuracy than any frame you care or make or buy, no matter what the price tag. Slings are one shooting sport where money has no bearing what so ever on who is the better shot. Making it imho the fairest shooting sport there is.
Take care with bands/tubes ensuring they are cut and set on the frame as perfectly as possible. Choose the best pouch you can find. Then worry about the frame least.

Thanks @Toddy I will be sure to keep that in mind about pouches and what not, the simplicity of slings is what I think has drawn me to them that's why im really into the nattys

Natural slings are truly awesome. The only reason for using board cuts is to get repeatability with a shape you like the feel of. Something which is quite hard with naturals. Board cut type slings also allow the use of more fancy materials which seems to be a bit of a fashion at the moment. But all true slingshot enthusiasts have a soft spot for naturals.
