    Hello slingers
As any of you who have been shooting slingshots for a while know. There is this unwritten law that states that out there in the world of slingshots there is that one shooter that is perfect for you. It is the perfect size. Perfect shape. Perfect style. Perfect everything.
    (THE HOLY GRAIL SLINGSHOT)
My Holy Grail shooter may not be the same as yours but I am here to tell you that I have found mine.
It started when a friend asked me what I thought on an idea he had. A lot of messages later and a lot of trial and error (and I mean a LOT of trial and error) I was sent #002 of the OTT FlatCat
Made from solid G10 it is almost bulletproof. It is an OTT shooter which is what I shoot and in my opinion it is absolutely perfect.
    I have shot 8mm. 9.5mm. 10mm. and 12mm steel ball's
I've used Theraband gold and silver. Spanish gum rubber. Natural gum rubber. Pure latex and linatex
All have done well but I've found latex and 9.5mm steel is my favourite combination.
For me this is my Holy Grail slingshot and if you are an OTT shooter you need one of these in your hand to realise how amazing it is.
Thank you @byudzai for all the fun you have given me in this small and perfectly shaped piece of design genius.
Here are some pictures for you guys.
She ain't the most flash looking shooter but she definitely is perfect in every way.
The first ones are glamour shots but the last ones are just everyday me and the OTT FlatCat

That is a really cool looking shooter. It's a great feeling when you have something that fits you to a T.

I agree with you about the shape (check my avatar!) it's neat and compact and just feels right!
I love the skeletal look of that as well. Lovely piece. If you ever get bored of it feel free to send it my way!

A flat cat is on my bucket list! I followed along on the build of the original G10 version, and I'd love to have one someday! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice and glad you are happy with it. I had no idea these ones were numbered, or maybe just the first few were interesting.

I love my G10 Tube FlatCat and am looking forward to shooting my G10 OTT Flat Cat when I get my grubby little hands on it. The frame fits my hand perfectly as well.

How did the band changing go with it?

      Great pics.

Alex does nice work. He had a ton of those at ECST.

Have you shot the tube TTF model?

I have a G10 tubed TTF FlatCat, a G10 OTT FlatCat and a Micarta OTT FlatCat. I picked up the G10 and Micarta OTT FlatCat frames at ECST and absolutely love them! I actually shot the woods course and two of my paper rounds at ECST with my OTT FlatCat. In fact, I have only shot two frames since I returned from ECST, the FlatCat being shot the most often. The design is absolutely brilliant and I love the attachment method.

For those who look at the price and are concerned, I'm here to tell you that the price is very reasonable for a solid G10 frame. In fact, with all of the design work and finishing that @byudzai puts into them, this frame is a steal!

That looks absolutely top notch. I watched the initial development and have to say the final product looks excellent.
I own a very early ergo multiplex model that Alex made which is very nice, I'm very tempted by the TTF model.

So many slings so little time :)

      Hey @Bruce
The band changing wad as easy as 1., 2., 3.
The first time I had to think about it so it took me about 3 minutes to do it. The second time was about 1 minute then after that it was seconds
It's really easy once you've done it once or twice [IMG]

Please let me know your thoughts when you have had some time to use it. It is my go to shooter but that is me so it would be great to hear what you think.

Yes I have shot the TTF. I was actually really surprised at how much I enjoyed it even though I'm more of an OTT shooter. So when Alex and I started discussing the idea of an OTT it was right down my street.
Now I have the OTT I can honestly say that for me it is perfect.

      Great news all around.

As for the price, I thought it was very reasonable all things considered: Attachment method, material, shipping to Canada and actual build quality/finish.

Not to mention, Alex is fantastic to deal with.
