This is what I have these have got to be 30-100 years + it kind a grows like a fiber like a palm tree but when it dries out you can see grains of wood Beyond strong you cannot break it by hand even stuff the size of your pinky does not break only when it’s solid dry
But at the right point you get solid dry with good dry “dead tree standing with a so sight of life in this tree “ the leaves are wilted not grown to wall size compared to the little smaller ones right next to it with beautiful leaves ,I have had no cracks nothing on any of it so far knock on wood or weed !
I think it’s the same stuff that was in Poway California that the Indians used fantastic bow wood really elastic backed with some bamboo really nice bow
This one was good the leaves stop growing this tree weed is just right dead standing
That’s 15-20 feet high some 4” at base
There’s smalls one everywhere but few this size this is 10 acres away from me
Tons of the Japanese maple size you sent me what some ? I ll go out and cut u some anyways it’s raining today no trash run so !
I’ll send more pictures of the plant later it’s taking like 9:55 minutes to download a picture right now

U can see there’s some dead and alive in the same set some mix dead but not dark yet or swirled and every other design neat stuff there’s a few green ones I cut and threw in the pile to dry see what they look like next year but the pretty ones are already there done and been dried for years

This is its leaves in bloom you will noticed in the picture of the weed tree it has no blooms it’s dead I already harvested all the big y ‘s out of the bottom sorry
Did get u one Y so far I ll check the one out front still need to check north 5 acres so far only one large every 5 acres or so .
