I have some off-cuts of oak flooring I got at our ReStore. Since they are 2-1/2 inches wide, I thought I should get around to making a PFS. And I needed to make a Lizard! W-Board.JPG

I used all the wood I could. Full width of the thin section that is 2-1/2 inches, All of the depth for the handle profile.

I cut it out with a handheld jigsaw and shaped it with a rasp and sandpaper. Sanded up to 400 grit and then wiped on a few coats of BLO.

She is comfortable in the hand and shoots as well as I can manage!

Ray, that is outstanding! You have enough of that board left to make us all one!

Love the look of the Lizard. Need to put it higher on my the next to build list.

Thank you for showing us how it is done and great video.

That's the way to do it. :tu: I was really disappointed when the samples at Lowe's and such became MDF with veneer.

Thanks for all the nice comments!
Nothing pegs the forum popularity meter like a build thread with a shooting vid!
      You are a great bunch!

Love that frame design. Excellent job of elevating a board frame! Hats off to you.
