I have thought a bit about the measurements. I was going to ask you what you think?

    Length 2500 mm
    Height 1200
    Width 800 mm

(With Angled floor so the ammunition is collected at the front edge)

Make any changes or is it time to get started ...?

      that sounds good...

i was gonna build my own, but since my time is kinda limited i went with a plastic drum, it works great, just cut a hole in the front, hung some old t-shirts in the back and that is it!

I have one in plastic barrel already, want something bigger now so you can have several targets to hit :)

      8ft x 4ft is a serious catch box, in fact it's almost a shed.

Here's mine , a 55 gal drum and I have no problem putting 4 spinner there in line and could do another row if i wanted to. I took a water heater catch pan and cut it to make the funnel which drops into a series of screens that does a good deal of the sorting for me. P4020044 (Medium).JPG

      Construction in progress ... :)

      Length 2500 mm
      Height 1200
      Width 790 mm

(In the background an archery target for 70 meters so my new slingshot catchbox
      is quite large)

If you have the room why not make it massive, looks good so far.

I was at the hardware store, and got some things from them when I bought playwood. To avoid spending so much money, I changed the dimensions so that it would fit the plate I get for free. The width went from 2500 mm to 1500 mm .... Soon time for painting and setting some targets and fix a good backstop.

This is looking good! Well done!

For my longer range catch box I use a hanging fitted bed sheet with an extra layer of fabric freely hanging at the front. Hangs on paracord and I can take it down when I need to. Doesn't collect 100% of shots but it's good enough.
