I know I said I’d give the last one a all my shooting time for a while and I have. And I’ve started really getting a feel for it, but I found a big piece of starboard and some bamboo and I just happened to have a tube of epoxy so..... Well I don’t have to tell you guys what happened lol.

Any idea on what pinch grip should come out of this? I intend to cut away at it after lunch since I’m going to be home in and out of Dr. appointments this morning.

Have youbever made an Apex by @Peter Recuas ... check his designs in the Templates. The shoot good and look good and are scale-able to fit one's hand.

Its a plastic that is used a lot in boats it’s really tough stuff and it works easily with regular woodworking tools. It may be HDPE. I’ve built everything from dash gauge clusters to rod holder and have even used it as bushing material for wood swings and gliders

Aww man. I really like that Apex and I will most likely glue up some more material tomorrow but I looked in my box and actually had a mule template printed that I had never done anything with so that’s what it turned out being.

I thought I had a bottle of BLO in the shop but since didn’t I’m going to get it tabbed and banded tonight so I can play with it tomorrow.

Well she’s dressed and ready to dance tomorrow. It’s very similar at the fork tips to the board cut I have been shooting so hopefully it’s a smooth transition.

I'm amazed that the starboard held with epoxy ...King recommends mechanical fasteners...HDPE is not a big fan of any glue please let me know how she holds.

TAP poly weld epoxy! That stuff will fix a broken heart, the crack of dawn, and would’ve kept the ex ole ladies pants up. It’s good stuff.

@SLING-N-SHOT wow that tapplastics store has great prices. I didn’t check shipping. For a sample of 4”x4”x.5” is only 2.00. I know it’s very easy to machine.

I think I’m going to get a 4x6 piece of 3/4. That would be good knock around frame that you could beat an elephant to death with.
