I think I screwed it up..

But I'm still gonna shoot it

I cut this PFS out of an oak branch and gave it a couple flings, but it was way too slippery in my hand sanded smooth, so today I gave it a long dimple for my palm knuckles, a subtle little thumb dimple, and I tried my hand at carving a checkered gun style grip on the fingers side.

Then I put some finish\stain on it.

The bugs apparently think I hung em a swing, cos there's five or six knats riding it now. ..grrr..

Thank you! I've daydreamed about trying to checker the grip areas.

I figured this little guy would be my guinea pig. ..Not much to hide in the trash if it all went sideways.

I think I learnt sumthin', anyway.
