This one is made from wenge and padauk woods ... looks like it should have a jack-o-lantern on the palm swell --->

Wow! That is nice. Have you tried to emulate someone other than Masters? I gave my Scout away the day after it arrived. The platform did not work for me.

I've only been shooting not quite a year now & I learned on Scouts, so I haven't ventured out into anything else. Every one I build, I make a tad different to experiment with fork width and frame thickness - hoping to hit on a sweet spot for my setup. I'm sure I'll eventually venture out into the realm of other build styles, but I'm really trying to get proficient at target shooting, and figure if I stick to one frame style, it'll be better for where I'm at now.
PS - the larger Scout XT is too big for my hold - impact is just too low ... so mine are loosely based on the Scout LT frame.

Not tryin' to toot your horn, but your past few slingers have been some of the nicest reproductions I've seen here in a few years. Looking forward to seeing lots more of your work.

      Absolutely stunning work John [emoji1690][emoji1690][emoji1690][emoji1690]

Have you thought of adding the inlaid orange sighting aid to both forks, so they’re LH / RH ambidextrous, and maybe incorporating a lanyard hole ?

      Darrell.
