    I wonder if someone would do a how to for gypsy tabs please? It's something I've yet to try and would appreciate some pointers on best method. Thanks for the help

      We do need a how to on this for sure... I'm real interested in them. I'll also admit I don't know when they should be used, and when they shouldn't. As in, whats the exact application of them.

      A friend of mine on another forum has done the best tutorial on this I have ever seen and also makes the best tabbed catties I have ever seen. I will check and see if he would mind me sharing his tutorial.

      His tabs are nearly as good as mine ;). I've tried to teach the old fella how to do em properly but he's set in his ways. Such a shame because he could be quite good :)

      Just as a way to cleanly attach your bands, mainly tubes or squares.

      Quieter to shoot than OTT. I think this is because instead of the pouch tie smacking into the frame, it first hits the leather tab, which is softer than the typical frame, gives a little, and helps guide the pouch over the top. But I think a really wide fork gap, that lets the pouch pass unimpeded, would be even quieter.

      Tabs are good, I'm just set in my ways with too many decades of doing things the same way its just how it goes for me but there are many tab styles.
