    No question is dumb.

Bands, if two band sets are made with the same width, taper, thickness, will they pull and shoot differently depending on COLOR?

I see GZK sheet material, 3 different colors, each available by thickness, and length. So why choose a color?

I do know that TheraBand colors are significant, but does that translate to our materials?

Some people say the have different stretch ratios I personally haven't tried them all. However I did ask GZK about it and he said that they are all the same only with different color.

There is a lot of mystery in latex make, model, thickness, chemical formulas. One of those topics that there will never be a complete definitive answer. The goal is to try them and find what works for you. Different thickness will work better on some ammo sizes better than other. Also, weather temperature is a factor. The list is endless....

You will end up buying a range of sizes and just shoot them to find out what you like. The green and yellow that I gave you are the same thickness and honestly don't remember if they were both GZK or just similar.

But the most important part is that the bands make your slingshot frame look good! Like wearing the wrong color socks with your shoes! :D

The yellow stretches farther than the green. But they are both .6mm

And that's why you will eventually end up with a box of various brands and thicknesses. I have bought most everything one time or another from .8mm to .5mm and everything in-between. Just have to try them and see how it works.

Also, this is a big reason for cutting your own. You pick a band type and end up trying different cut lengths to get to the perfect stretch length. There is no perfect formula. Just have to cut, test, and take notes. Then repeat.

In my experience, green and black both have more snap than orange. The orange is still a great band, just not as snappy as the other two. Green .76 is my go to hunting band
