I finished these 2 up and figured I'd add them so we could try to keep track this year. I don't wanna take away from the Homemade section so add pictures if you wish or just chime in with your next build and add to the total. 2!

Man Sam, that is some danged hard wood to work, but I love the heft of it, and the natural color / grain it has....it literally came alive when I put the first coat of BLO on, thanks so much for that trade my friend.

#53 A very cool and beautiful fork of unknown wood found in the woods with a cedar cap. All files and sandpaper. D### weather. Along with a lot of advice from better builders than me[emoji106][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Thanks Sam, that’s my makers mark....drill a hole, fill/inlay with crush turquoise, sand super fine, then wood burn the lines around it.

#56, OPFS with 1/8" phenolic laminated with green fiber spacers. Used phenolic tube and green G10 rod for pins, all held together with G Flex epoxy. Finished with BLO and paste wax.

Thank you. This was probably the most fun I've had with a build. Really happy with how it came out. Appreciate you making the template available. This was sitting on my to do list for a while :)

For those who may not know, the Dorian plan is a trace of a natural frame that I received from Shane (Island Made Catapults) a few months ago. With his permission, I traced it and made the plan. It is a design that was too good not to capture and save for everyone else.

Here is the slingmail pic of Shane's amazing craftsmanship in both metal and natural wood.
