I finished these 2 up and figured I'd add them so we could try to keep track this year. I don't wanna take away from the Homemade section so add pictures if you wish or just chime in with your next build and add to the total. 2!

Thanks Clint, that bottom right frame is one of the two Wild Indian Mock Orange forks you sent me for Christmas with the Birdseye Maple conus.
That is some nice WEED to work with, as I think you’ve called it before, lol. [emoji1690][emoji16]

I can see I'll be adding a few pics as this gets rolling. Some terrific worksmanship here. Seems making these things is half the fun of shooting them for lots of people and I can see why. Finishing my first attempt now with some Danish wood oil because that was all I had on hand. What do most of you finish these with? Tru-Oil or Wipe On poly?

I use BLO or Teak Oil and sometimes will add a couple coats of finish paste wax to make them shine.

Update, I did NOT like the way the folded bands worked on the forks. They would not stay on top. So, I went with Gypsy tabs.

So if Clint's numbers were correct, this is #37 and #38.

This is just for the record. There is enough info about these two frames in other threads.

      SWOPFS and the Pitbullularis.

By the way, I've since realized my error on the Ocularis plugs and I installed the band backwards here in the picture.

#39 a traditional ash cup up that had been seasoning a while. Leather Tabs whipped in with waxed cotton twine , soaked for 24 hrs in BLO and machine polished

Nice Rich, I'm jealous of the beautiful natural wood you have in the UK.
