Chased cans around the yard today with this walnut OPFS. Shooting .4 Precise, 1/2" straight, 12.5" active length, 1/2" clay, 3/4 butterfly (actually pretty close to full).

It's funny, I can shoot butterfly with full sized frames fairly well, but with a PFS frame I shoot butterfly considerably better, I make shots that surprise me!

Guinness pairs well with a conus! Full butterfly and 1/2" clay.

Pickles and beer! Been shooting this awesome walnut with eucalyptus veneers OPFS (made by @Mr Muz) full butterfly, but it's been aggravating my carpal tunnel. Fortunately, my PFS short game is fairly solid and a few 8 mm steels made quick work of this can.

    It's @Palmettoflyer 's fault.

I was encouraged by y'alls PFS shooting and collections the other day and made my first slingshot from an already existing design, also by y'alls encouragement, the PFS Mule.

Monroe, after seeing my rig yesterday and reading my lament here about sucking at it, offered me his help.

I cut bands for a longer draw and tried to memorize and visualize his instruction before I turned on my camera for a real try at this PFS thang.

I still suck, but a whole lot less.

You're a righteous dude, Sir Monroe.
    Gracias, amigo!

    ~JimmyMac.

You're a brave fellow to film yourself that early in the learning curve! Happy to see the hits!

Lordy.. It seems I've found an addiction within another addiction.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and input on these posts and others.

    I really appreciate it!

I spied this branch yesterday and gave it some PFS love last night. (there's a lot of fallen oak on the property, so I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. Lol)[IMG][IMG]

Nice shooting fella. If the band slap gets to much upping ammo size or reduced band width will sort that out . Most importantly keep slinging steel and having fun

Haha probably voided the warranty on this guy, but who ever needed a warranty on a $20 piece of plastic. Shootin some .177.

FYI, this plastic does not seem to take to Rit Dye like some do. Had it in some denim blue dye for an hour yesterday and came out as clear as it started. Must be too dense. Oh well I like the clear too.

Thank you! I did both. And you are correct.
No slap with 5\16 or 3\8. I also cut 1\2 inch straight bands and the 1\4" steel ain't so slappy anymore either.

Looking good with the Turtle, Steve! Nice shooting and loved your target picture too. I got a Smitty TT a few months ago and remember thinking how great they shoot. Rarely a miss!

Thanks, Monroe! I have a Smitty TT on the way to me right now! Along with another awesome frame. Same here with the accuracy. Rarely a miss. Can't explain it. Just glad that it is what it is!

    Haha, nice Mike !

I wish I had the time to shoot and post about every trade sling I’ve gotten, but I just don’t......I still appreciate and admire every one I’ve gotten though.

I have very little time for building so that’s usually where I spend my time instead of shooting.
