Just bought this ‘Mini Stanley’ this evening. Very excited about it. Handmade by the brilliant Stephen Fairbairn at Saltire Custom Catapults

I know this is not ‘strictly’ a PFS, but it is very close and needs to be shot like it is. It IS absolutely superbly made, by Stephen at Saltire Custom Catapults in Scotland. Hand cut 8mm 316 stainless steel core, hand cut leather block handle, with brass and red G10. He made the leather tabs and pouch, forming the back of the screws and bolts to hold it all securely. It is ‘perfect engineering’.

This composition is worthy of a frame and a place in the livingroom :)

First full butterfly can cut !
    Task 12 conus wearing .45 bsb 25/15
    35 cm active .
Had a love hate going on with butterfly love the look and power and hate I can’t do it lol
This band set is nice and light for practice I was way over banding in my previous attempts as this set up is flinging 9.5 really well and even 11 mm ok !
I think my previous set ups would of needed snooker balls lol .
Happy as Larry now I’m on the right track .

    cheers everyone
    Happy slinging

Congratulations and good shooting! That last shot when the can parts is always the best! :tu::)

I'm getting good results with BSB .45 and .5 with a 20/15 taper shooting both 9.5 and 11 mm ammo. However, I am only shooting semi butterfly with a AL of 26 cm. The BSB .5 and .45 is amazing. I find it hard to really tell a difference between the two.

I’m not surprised that’s a favourite! Your holding the holy grail!!! Haha
Out of interest is folding the bands better for opfs than fitting them flat to the frame?
    Cheers buddy hope you’re well

I dont notice any detriment to accuracy, just a force of habit buddy really if anything i find the bands dont twist as much which is ideal for a quick follow up shot , i usually shoot tubes almost exclusively but fancied a change today.
