Picked up this from Cruiser last month. Sweet shooter that I think technically is called a SWPFS. PFS fork on a Slim Waist handle. If any of you old timers recognize or know this frame, I would like to hear more. Fits great in the hand and tore up this "Old Chub" from 10 meters. Banded with BSB 0.5, 20/15 taper and slinging 7/16" ammo.
Out with @SimpleShot 's Flippin Pickle and a bag of 1/4" still just arrived from BC Precision. Oh, and some SimpleShot 1632. Can y'all believe people leave free targets out inbthe woods?!?
Nothing new, the news are I am able to measure accurately the speed without a chrony, thanks to @Palmettoflyer (Monroe) who provided me with the data and MP3 wave files and his chrony results, I sent him the formula in exchange he returned a nice Excel Sheet, story short here it is made this bands, a TBS clone (maybe Cando, I don't remember well), 30mm x 18mm x 35cm active length, resulted 70 m/s avg. with 7/16" steel
Nice, good to see it is working well. I like the temperature correlation addition. Do you think we should add vector compensation for the wind? LoL
Took a little break from the Chrony Spreadsheet this afternoon. Beautiful sunshine day with temps in the 70's. Great day to live in the Southeast! Mr Muz was asking me about the Martin Whippet frame and how it was getting along. I'm guilty of letting it lay on my work desk as it looks so nice. But truth is, I have been rebanding a lot of my PFS frames and finally got around to the Sure Shot. It is now in the can cutting rotation and really enjoyed the warm afternoon.
Got outside with this fine frame this afternoon. This is my first post on this forum. Some great frames here
Good to have you on board pal, uk here also, we need to see more of your collection Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
