It's been too long since I whittled up a nice stick to shoot.
The larger is made of golden rain tree and comes with a little blue stain thanks to a beetle that vectors the fungus that causes it.
The smaller from Japanese Pagoda tree.
    Tru oil finish.
    No template, rhime or reason.
Just went at it and had some good clean fun.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I love what you did with the smaller one. They’re both badass but the weird ones are always my favorite. So cool!

That's what happens when you don't plan things out? Can't wait to see what you come up with when you give it some thought! Beauties!

YOWZA! Lots of character and as far as I'm concerned you can't beat Tru-Oil.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I almost forgot how fun it is to pull a shooter out of a stick. I need to build more...

I do like me some Tru-oil. Also really like the wipe on polyurethane.
