    Got a fork from Scotland in a trade think it’s oak . I had it a couple years so thought I bust into it and look what was hidden inside it’s some crazy markings. Kinda messed the slot up but that’s ok the cool wood tops it

      I was hoping to get a bigger conus but never panned out the bark sometimes throws you off . O well it’s going fun little guy

      Thats silver !!! Birch which is what I mainly use the 3 where the skin is still silver are osf which have been air dried properly which produce the frames without the spalting (ftc and raptor style).the osf in the pic in my hand is also silver birch which has been wet then dried then wet then dried over many seasons which makes the bark like leather and produces crazy discolouration and spalting. The well spalted tadpoles and the ftc with bark on like leather
