I got my HGH Hunter from Catty Shack today.

I have alot of production made slingshots, but I've always been partial to wooden slingshots.

The HGH Hunter is the first metal slingshot that I've ever owned, and I must say I am amazed.

At first it seemed a little bit on the heavy side, but after shooting it I found out that was a good thing, the weight really made a good stable hold upon release, kinda like a shock absorber.

This thing is a pure pleasure to shoot, The fit and Finnish is fantastic, the band attachment system is one of the best I've ever seen.

It was a little pricey with the shipping but was well worth it, I'm glad I ordered it.

I banded it up with BSB 0.75 cut to 24mm - 20mm taper at a 7 5/8" active band length.

I haven't had a chance to shoot it over the chronograph yet but it will flat put a 7/16" steel ball down range with plenty of power.

Awesome, very nice. Looking forward to the shooting reports and let us know when that wild game dinner is ready. Give us enough time to drive over to your house.

The pouches are great, they come from GZK.
The have different sizes depending on the size of your ammo, I've been putting them on all of my slingshots when the old bands need replaced.

They are very quick and easy to load your ammo in with one hand, they hold and center the ammo really well.

I've been looking at getting one of those. I'm a fan of sloped tips for straight wrist style shooting, and the weight the stainless steel gives it is fantastic. I have an Evo Field Pro and its great. One thing I will tell you, is to not mix the screws for the clips up. For whatever reason they're particular about what hole they go in

I saw that on the Catty Shack website about the clips, he said to make sure to keep them paired with the same fork that they came on.

I also looked at the Evo Field Pro, I my get on later down the road.

If you do get one, you'll want to do something about the handle. The checking on the handle can be uncomfortable with heavier bands. I put some G10 scales on mine and it works really well

I was wondering how comfortable the handle would be, I was thinking of some kind of paracord wrap, but the G10 scales would be better for sure.
