I finally got my catch box done.

The back is lined on the inside with a high density foam with black pillow cases hanging about 2 1/2" in front of it.

It has one eye bolt on the top centered in the opening to hang cans, it also has a eye bolt on each side of the opening to mount spinning targets.

I painted the inside flat black and the outside flat black, gray and brown.

I bought a cover for it to keep the rain and unwanted varmints out.

I shot about 250 7/16" steel balls into it today and didn't have any bounce out.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Well done! One of the nicest I've seen in a while.

      Very nice :tu:
Have to make one for myself.
The opening of the barrel is on the ground, is there a reason to set it upside down?

      Sorry for my bad English.

The top of the barrel is solid ( no lid ) and very flat and was more stable setting on the ground.

The black pillow cases are perfect for this.

They work well to stop the shot. Are effective in stopping bounce-outs. And present a 'clean-looking' background while helping make your target standout.

      Great job!
