Today we answer the age old question of will a slingshot work under water. I have never tried to shoot a slingshot under water just so my first time will be live on camera. But just in case it doesn't work i have several slingshots rigid with different band and even one that shoots darts and arrows so we will find a way should the regular slingshot round ammo prove to go nowhere. What do you think leave your predictions before watching !!!

Harpoon guns are basically big slingshots, so they should work. It may not work very well, but it will work

I'm betting that tubes will work best due to less drag in the water but I'm looking forward to watching this to see how it all goes. :)

Age old question? I can honestly say I've personally never thought that or ever had any interest in shooting under water or have ever known anyone want to know if its possible? If I ever had the desire to shoot under water I would just use a harpoon or spear gun designed especially for the job in hand.

      Cool video though.

Ha! Good luck Zach! I'll say it'll shoot ineffectively.
We used to lash a forks to the end of old cut-off hockey sticks and called them "crab-nabbers" when snorkeling in Hampton Harbor as kids. Never used them in a speargun fashion though.
