    When I shoot 12mm I go for a 30/25 taper with gzk.8 or ussop .8

Check out Wayne at Catty Shack. He hunts using his green .82 hunting band at 25/20. I use the same bands and setup including his new EVO catapult. He puts a lot of research in slingshot hunting (slingshots, bands, ammo etc...) so you know the stuff is good. Check him out also on youtube under the same name.

If hunting I wouldn't recommend anything less than .8mm bands with 11mm steels

I use pink and orange cold weather bands for power and they last
1” or 7/8” no taper or very little
My pink on my bonegrip wide fork lasted all winter three months must’ve shot 3000 rounds out of it and the orange .66 works nice I have it on three slings . My flex conus thank u @Mr Muz has 11” working bands a little long but power up the Wa- zoo and even more when needed . Like a .44 cal ball I shoot 9.5 or .380 so that 44 needs extra and orange works nice I need more .
And don’t Poopoo the idea of skinny bands don’t work with heavy ammo a 18mm 3/4 “ strait is nice
I have been using the black superstretch stuff I don’t know the name of it but it is 7.0 and some 5.0 The .50 stuff will throw anything at 7/8-3/4 cut
Now I’m glad I have 20 slingshot so I can put 20 different band combinations and figure out which ones I like and still get to shoot without changing any slingshot Lol ya that’s why I have so many !!!!:)
