I’ve saw a couple Kestrel(?) style frames on here nobody really talking about them much. Does anyone shoot one regularly what are y’all’s thoughts on them. They seem like fun little pocket shooters.

I've got one from Gopher and like it a lot! If you use a pinch grip then there's really no need for a handle. I was unsure when I received it but after shooting it, it felt as good as any ergo pinch grip frame.

Thats what I was thinking. Of course a just in case lanyard for safety but by and large a handle is just decorative for me. After all my pinky and ring finger on my left hand are mainly just there for looks anyway so it isn’t like I could get a good grip if I wanted to.

Oh yeah, they are great fun!.
I prefer to scale it down to about 75 percent so the fork width is about 3 inches vs. 4.

I don't think Gopher posted a template of the Kestrel. However, he posted a template of the GS-12. And the Kestrel is a GS-12 with some carve-outs in the bottom arc. Coins or bottle caps will work to outline the carve-outs.
      Have you started cutting yet?

Not yet I am going to have to put myself on a strict pace of shooting one frame for at least a week before I build another! I’m thinking next week is going to be one of these or a matching mule pfs to mule from Friday
