    I share with you images of the slingshot that I finished making today.
    Taken from a large ziricote fork.
    A piece that has a very special meaning and that will always stay in my collection.

      Beautiful! Amazing contrast on the heartwood and sapwood. Always intrigues me to see the patterns inside waiting to come out!

      I got this fork back in December 2019. It was close to that the borers will damage it.
      When I saw the galleries I started to work it and after roughing it I had to pass it through the microwave a few times to finish drying it.
      Fortunately, due to the thickness it had, they still did not reach the center.
