ok so think U all know I like thinking out of the box And I was thinking of an award Christmas gift
Or who “I “ think has made the best out of the box “thinking” and who has contributed greatly to the success of our slingshots going in the future and has worked with one of the great old-timers in order to teach something new and learn old school at the same time , has helped open the eyes of many people on to a certain type of slingshot that they may never of done before
And to as what I can see very giving man .
So this years best slingshot ” future present past “ is “to me “ is @Palmettoflyer his creation of the 3-D conus in the samurai the wide gap and the normal working with old school to obtain something new teaching us all something
My hats off to you sir !
Now for the fun part his present
Now I will show you some pictures of what I made for him it is a desert ironwood Picture sucked today no sun and this would need sun very beautiful green turned out nice

Ok so why give @Palmettoflyer a conus this is no ordinary conus this is my 0PFS size conus

Lol couldn’t get it to stop sliding in the snow it’s just a hair off but fits the hand exactly like you would hold and 0PFS wider than the mini cones which Is cool butt the OPFS is King and this feels just like it in hand
Sorry it’s hard for me to think out of the box obviously my box is very big and I can’t see the other wns most of the time let alone think out of it LOL

      Lol :(
      This is @Palmettoflyer lycky day
Because of the miss fortune of me not being a builder doing the final inspection on my beautiful desert ironwood OPFS conus look-alike I found a crack think not a good crack :) is there ever a crack thats any good
      I marked it

Now I don’t know if it would hold or not so
      Plan B
Since I made such a big deal and I do believe he deserves a fantastic award I am reaching deep down into my soul and because Christmas is about someone’s birth who sacrifices for us I assume I better sacrifice myself something nice So his new Prize is my personal best bocote conus . Samurai cut already packaged up LOL so as I won’t change my mind :) I told you this giving is hard for me .
      Merry Christmas Monroe

I sent the crack one also maybe we can do a 3-D of that size with the samurai cut like mine I think it would be a good OPFS
Even though @richnewm style is pretty much that I just think it’s cool that it looks just like a conus but 0PFS size

Clint! I am humbled beyond words. It is an honor to be your Christmas pick. I will cherish and shoot the hell out of those frames. Your words are too kind and have enjoyed every minute of the slingshot community and all of our brothers here. Just having fun doing slingshot stuff. You really didn't need to do this, but I am touched by your kind words and generosity. You sir have truly nailed the spirit of the season and selfless giving is over the top. I extend to you my warm heartfelt Merry Christmas wishes and all the best for next year.

To all the other guys here who have made nice comments, thank you very much. The brotherhood of slingshots is so much more than just shooting, it is all about helping each other on the journey to the perfect shot.

      Thank you Clint,
      Monroe

Sammy, thanks. However, you are the one who got yourself hired! I just happened to be the guy on the other side of the table. Glad that we have reconnected here on the forums.

I'll keep an eye on it (pun intended). I do shoot with my fingers on top of the ties, so I have tactile contact with the fork tips when I'm shooting. But will keep a magnified view check on the crack. I see where you marked it with a sharpie.

      Thanks again,
